 Popular Nollywood actress Chioma Akpotha has been singing praises to God for blessing her with another grandchild.


According to Igbo tradition, it appears when Chioma's mother (Grace Egoyibo Chukwuka) passed away she passed on her torch to her first daughter Ada, Chioma. This inheritance makes Chioma the mother of her siblings.


She took to social media to heap praise on God, for giving her the prettiest granddaughter.

For today I give God all the praise ! I am a grandmother again (as Egoyibo has passed the torch to me). @iam_jimdandy and @fugarson gave me the prettiest niece/granddaughter . Baby, Mummy and Daddy are doing just fine !

Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, generally known as Chioma Chukwuka is one of the most prominent and award-winning actresses who has made a great impact on the Nollywood industry.

She is also a movie producer, director, influencer, model, and speaker.

Biography

Chioma Chukwuka was given birth on the 12th of March, 1980 in her hometown, Oraifite in the Anambra State of Nigeria. The name of her mother is Mrs Grace Egoyibo Chukwuka.

She started her career in acting at a very young age and is very well over twenty years in the movie industry. Prior to diving into the movie industry fully, she was a singer and a dancer. However, she made her first debut in acting after she feature in “The Apple” in the year 2000.



Chioma has played so many roles and featured in over 200 movies including Disguise, Red soil, Dead in faith, and Asunder among so many others.

Considering the fact that her date of birth is the 12th of March, 1980, she is presently 42 years of age (in 2022).

Husband


Although people believe that many celebrities do not stay long in marriage before they get divorced. That may be true.

However, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha is one of the few Nigerian celebrities that are happily married for a good number of years.

She is happily married to her handsome husband, Franklin Akpotha who is a businessman. The duo got married on the 26th of February, 2006.

Amazingly, just a year after, in 2007, she gave birth to a boy child and then a girl child some years later.

Chioma Chukwuka commenced her preliminary education in Lagos state. She then proceeded to Onitsha in Anambra State where she obtained her senior school leaving certificate from Federal Girls Government College, Onitsha.

Finally, she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Lagos State University.

She is also said to have taken a course at Pan Atlantic University’s School of Media and Communication.
