One of the most heartbreaking news you will read online this week is the story of a newly wedded couple that was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Warri, Delta State. The deceased, Kingsley and pregnant wife Ajoke Akpor were victims of an unfortunate incident that took place on NPA Expressway on Sunday
The husband and the pregnant wife were killed after a vehicle ran over them while crossing the road
The information on the incident is yet unclear. However, according to a report, the deceased couple was attempting to cross the road after attending a birthday party held at PTI Conference Center, when the speeding driver ran into them.
As a result, the driver fled the scene after ramming into this young couple. From what we learnt, Kingsley was a photographer with his studio located in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state. He got married to his wife on the 21st of December in 2022
The couple was expecting their first child this week before the tragic road incident that claimed their lives
Before the tragic incident, the wife Ajoke was heavily pregnant and was expected to put to bed this week. Unfortunately, their lives have been cut short. Their corpses have been deposited at the morgue of Akpan General Hospital.
Since their passing, friends have taken to social media to pay tributes and mourn the death of the newly married couple who lost their lives recently to an unfortunate hit-and-run incident.
