Rachael Okonkwo is one of the most popular Nigerian female actresses that is loved and cherish by her fans. The actress has been in the Nigerian entertainment industry for over some decades now and till date she, she is still doing wonders in the industry. She has been described as one of the most beautiful actresses presently in the Nigerian movies industry. So therefore in the cause of this article, i shall be sharing with you facts about her which you may not know and some of her beautifu; pictures for those whom may not know her.
Rachael Okonkwo Nnenna popularly known among her fans as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka is a popular Nigerian movies producer, an actress, a model, television personality , a singer. dancer and as well as a philanthropist. She was born in Nsukka local government area of Enugu state on the 26th of May 1987 and she is currently a 32 year-old beautiful and vibrant lady. She is beautiful, creative, talented, skillful and always knows how to interpret her roles perfectly in every movies she features in. In most of her movies, she always features in a romantic, action, epic and glamour movies.
The actress is a proud indigent of Ukpata, a very popular town in Uzo-Uwani local government area of Enugu state. Rachael Okonkwo had both her primary and secondary school education education and as well as obtaining her first school leaving certificate and her West African Senior School Certificate of Education (WASSCE) in Nsukka, Enugu state of Nigeria. The actress started developing passions towards drama and stage presentation at a very tender age . As a result of her love and passion towards acting, she wished to study a drama related course in the higher institution.
Having completed her secondary school education, she proceeded to study Mass Communication in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). During her stays in UNN, she began her movies auditions and participated in so many stage performances. She started her acting career fully in the year 2005 but due to lack of available roles for her to acts, she later abandoned it and ventures into music. In the year 2007 after registering with the Actors Guilt of Nigeria, Rachael Okonkwo began her movies career professionally. She gains her popularity after been features in the popular Nollywod movies titled "Royal War", a movie which she acted alongside some prominent Nollywood stars such as; Van Vicker and Ini Edo in the year 2008. Few years later, she acted as a supporting roles in the movie titled "Open and Close"", a movie which she acted alongside Patience Ozokwor, John Okafor, Charlse Inojie and Nuella Njibuigbo.
Rachael Okonkwo gains more popularity in the yer 2014 after she participated in the Nollywood Igbo speaking movie titled " Nkolu Nwa Nsukka" , the movie was directed by Mac Collins. As a result of her creative roles in the movie, she was awarded as the Best Comic Actress in Indigenous Language at the African Movie Academy Awards. She is known as one of the most outspoken female celebrities who has taken the Nigerian reputations to the next level when it comes to entertainment. As a result of her high level of creativity and intelligent, she have the ability to features in any character given to her by the movie producer or director. She is mostly seen in a thriller, epic, urban and comedy movies.
So far in her acting career, Rachael Okonkwo has features in over 120 Nigerian movies, some of which includes; Left Over, Local Prostitute, Justify My Love, Agatha, BlackBerry Madness, Please Leave My Husband, Pinging Ladies, Teri Teri, Eno My Calabar Love, Tears of Betrayal and many other interesting movies. Also in the cause of her movies career, she has won and received lots of awards both locally and internationally. Some of her awards includes; Best Indigenous Comedy Actress at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards, Best Comedy Actress of the Year at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, Best Indigenous Comedy Actress at the African Movie Academy Awards just to mention but a few.
