JUST IN! Nollywood Veteran Actress, Mercy Johnson Loses Dad To The Cold Hand Of Death
It is a tough time for Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie and her family as they mourn the death of her father, Ametuo Daniel Johnson.
In a heartbreaking post on her Instagram page, the mother of four vowed to keep asking God for the rest of her life why he took her father’s life.
She stated that she doesn’t think she will ever understand why God took him away from her and even if He (God) ever responds, she doesn’t think she would accept it.
Mercy Johnson, who is in pain, described her pain as the greatest pain of all.
Bading him goodnight, she wrote,
“For the rest of my life Daddy, I will keep asking God why? I don’t think I will ever understand why he has taken you from me. And if he responds, I don’t even think I will accept it.
They say love saves but my love did not keep you here with us. The great pain I feel now is the greatest pain of all.
Rest In Peace my gentle father, NWO Johnson Ametuo Daniel D.A Johnson. God clearly loves you more, that’s the only explanation that makes any sense to me”.
Chief Enemuo is a World War (1&2) veteran, born in the family of three as a first child, yet he had outlived his younger brothers, age mates, co-comrades among others. Hails from Ebenebe in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State (Nigeria), the deceased was survived by 2 sons, 3 daughters, 28 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. News48hrs earlier last year break the news that the world oldest man clocked 150 years in Anambra. According to the reports reaching this reporter today, Chief Enemuo died on 28th April, 2015 at 9:58pm, and was buried on 29th at exactly 12pm after holy mass held at his compound at 10am, but the date of his funeral rite is yet to be announced.
