The father, mother, and their four children died after sharing a meal on October, 8, 2022.

A man, Augustine Nwokedi, his wife, Josephine, and four children, have died of suspected food poisoning at their residence in Ozubulu community, Anambra State.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the victim’s neighbours, who observed that none of them came out of their apartment, broke down the door and found their corpses.

A source in the community said the victims died after the family had taken their dinner and went to bed.

According to the source, the family were suspected to have died of food poisoning, but this has not been confirmed done by wall gecko.

The family — father Augustine Tochukwu Nwokedi, 41, mother Josephine Nkeiru Nwokedi, 39, children Emmanuel Chinaemelum Nwokedi, 12, Godwin Chigozie Nwokedi, 9, Blessing Chinazaekpere Nwokedi, 6, and Jospeh Chinedum Nwokedi — will be buried on November 29, 2022, in their hometown in Ozubulu, Anambra state.
